4. Are the rooms on the ground floor?
We have seven rooms on the first floor of the main building and two deluxe studio rooms on the ground floor.
Note: The Queen size bed of the deluxe studio rooms can only be accessed using the internal staircase.
Amenities
1. Is there an elevator to access the first floor?
First floor is accessible only by stairs.
2. Do you have connecting rooms?
Yes, we know large groups would like to have their privacy and yet have an option to be seamlessly connected. Two Deluxe and Two Luxurious rooms have the option for interconnectivity.
3. Is your resort pet-friendly? Can our pets be with us during our stay at the resort?
While we adore pets, not many guests share the same enthusiasm. Sorry, no pets.
4. Is there a safety deposit box facility?
Yes, we want you to be carefree and not worry about your valuables.
5. Do you have free Wi-Fi?
We do, but do try and disconnect with the world and reconnect with nature and those who are around.
6. Do you have free parking space?
Yes!
7. Do you have a swimming pool?
Currently, swimming pool is a work in progress.
8. Do you have television in the rooms?
To maintain a tranquil environment and based on guest feedback, we have refrained from installing television in the rooms. However, there is a television in the Cafe area, in case you want to catch up on the latest sports or news events.

1. Is breakfast complimentary?
Yes, start your mornings with breakfast at Cafe 4 and don’t worry about the bill.
2. What are the dining options at Matsya?
We have our own Cafe 4 just a few steps away, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and anything in between.
3. What are the food options?
Cafe 4 serves veg, non-veg, and seafood. Beef and Pork are not served.
Halal food is available.
4. Do you serve alcohol at Matsya?
No

1. Do you have motorbike renting facilities?
Yes, and we suggest you take advantage of it, to be able to enjoy the Island at your pace. Valid driving license is mandatory.
2. Can you arrange water sports activities?
Yes! Please check with us for a range of activities on offer, such as:

Preparing for your trip to the Andaman Islands
1. When to go?
The best time to visit is from September to May, with peak season from October to March. December is a popular travel month, so prices may be higher. You can also visit in June and July to experience the islands during the monsoon.
2. What to pack?
Pack lightweight, breathable clothing such as cotton and linen, including loose-fitting t-shirts, shorts, and sundresses. Don’t forget swimwear, a hat or sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, and water shoes for activities like snorkelling. If you plan to visit religious sites, bring modest clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. A light rain jacket or umbrella is also advisable, as sudden showers are common.
3. Travel Documents Required?
For foreign nationals, ensure you have your passport, visa, and any required permits. Some areas of the Andaman Islands require a Restricted Area Permit (RAP), so obtain this in advance.
4. Are Medicines Available?
Although over-the-counter (OTC) medicines are available in some locations, we recommend that you bring any essential medications you may need, along with a basic first-aid kit.
5. How Do I Plan My Budget?
Decide on a rough budget and divide it into categories such as transport, sightseeing, and hotel reservations. You might also consider booking a tour package that includes meals.
6. Are There ATMs?
There are ATMs in Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil Island, but it’s wise to carry some cash. UPI apps like Google Pay and Paytm also work well in the Andaman Islands.

There are multiple transport options such as Taxis, Autos and Bus.
2. Is public transport available in the vicinity of Matsya?
Yes! Just around the corner, air-conditioned public buses run every 30-45 minutes. You can also avail yourself of a seat in public jeeps that operate at regular intervals for a nominal charge.
3. Can you arrange ferry tickets?

No, but we are conveniently located between Radhanagar Beach and Kala Pathar Beach and so you can access both.
2. What is the distance from Matsya to the beach?
Matsya is nearly equidistant from the two main beaches of Radhanagar Beach and Kala Pathar—around 6.5 km. Govind Nagar Beach is approximately 2.5 km away, and boat access to Elephant Beach is around 4 km from Matsya.
3. What is the distance from Matsya to the market?
Matsya is located just 2 kms. from the main market area.
